Drivers: Ben Hoar Ben started drag racing in Super Street driving "Trusty" the HT Ute of Wayne Batson. In 2012 Ben purchased the Wally Stroupe built Pro Modified 70 Chevy Nova from the USA intitially for Super Sedan competition. Ben has now stepped into the Supercharged Outlaws Bracket with the Nova getting a few changes. The 565 cube carby Big Block Chevy has been replaced with an 525 cube AJ481X Pro Mod style motor with custom steel connecting rods. Powerglide is replaced with the ever reliable Bruno Drive and 3 speed CS1 Lenco. Rear end was replaced with a Strange Engineering Ultra 4 link diff assembly. In licencing the car ran 6.61 at 218 mph.       |
